New-York Presbyterian offers orthopedic services at both its Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center through Columbia Orthopaedics and Weill Cornell Orthopaedics. It was ranked among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report for 2015-16. Under the hospital’s Hand & Microvascular Service, established in 1949, surgeons treat approximately 5,000 patients on an outpatient basis per year and perform 1,000 operations annually.
