IU Health Academic Health Center | 100 Hospitals with Great Orthopedic Programs 2015

IU Health Academic Health Center (Indianapolis). In addition to being a Blue Distinction Center+ for Knee and Hip replacement, IU Health Academic Medical Center has the only program in Indiana to appear among the top 50 hospitals for adult orthopedics on U.S. News & World Report's 2015-16 list. As a nationally ranked program, the hospital collaborates with the Indiana University School of Medicine to combine innovative treatments with the latest technology to offer individualized and comprehensive care. That said, IU Health clinicians will exhaust all nonoperative treatments before recommending surgery. When surgery is necessary, the hospital's surgeons provide advanced joint replacements, reconstruction and minimally invasive spine surgeries. IU Health is a Magnet-designated hospital system.
