The University of Kansas Hospital earned a spot on U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals list for the 10th consecutive year, ranking as the No. 1 hospital in Kansas and No. 38 in the nation for cardiology and heart surgery in its 2016-17 rankings. The hospital is also designated as high-performing for heart failure and heart bypass surgery in U.S. News & World Report's common care rankings. The hospital is a Blue Distinction Center+ for Cardiac Care with Magnet accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
