Rochester General Hospital, the flagship of the Rochester General Health System, is home to the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute at Rochester General Hospital, a nationally recognized heart and vascular institute. SCHI is New York’s fourth-largest heart surgery program, and its team of cardiothoracic surgeons performs more than 1,200 surgeries each year. The vascular surgery associates at Rochester General Hospital perform more than 1,000 vascular surgeries per year, the most of any vascular surgery center in the Greater Rochester, N.Y., region.
