Banner Heart Hospital (Mesa, Ariz.). Located adjacent to Banner Baywood Medical Center, Banner Heart Hospital is a 111-bed specialty hospital with a medical staff of approximately 450, including cardiologists, cardiovascular and vascular surgeons, primary care physicians and other specialists. Since the hospital opened in 2000, it has undergone five expansions projects and launched its Women’s Heart Center, Heart Rhythm Center and pulmonary hypertension program. Banner Heart Hospital has also earned several accolades in its 15 years. Most recently, it received recognition from Truven Health Analytics as one of its 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals for 2015-16.
