Arkansas Heart Hospital (Little Rock). Arkansas Heart Hospital includes six catheterization labs, a 24-hour emergency for heart emergencies and three operating rooms designed for cardiac, thoracic and peripheral vascular surgical procedures. The hospital is affiliated with 29 clinics across the state and it offers several preventive health initiatives and community screening programs. For 2016, CareChex ranked Arkansas Heart Hospital as the No. 3 hospital in the country for medical excellence in cardiac care, and Healthgrades has given the hospital its America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention Award for the last three years, most recently in 2016.
