The Bloomberg-Kimmel Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, for example, launched last year with a $125 million philanthropic investment. In June, the center unveiled a collaboration to expand access to clinical trials for patients at York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health. U.S. News & World Report ranked The Johns Hopkins Hospital No. 6 in the nation for adult cancer care in 2017-18.
