Stephen Weber, MD. Vice President for Clinical Effectiveness and CMO of University of Chicago Medicine. Dr. Weber is the vice president of clinical effectiveness and CMO of UChicago Medicine, responsible for the hospital’s clinical staff, which includes 900 physicians of the University of Chicago Physicians Group. An internal medicine and infectious disease physician, Dr. Weber’s research interests include infection prevention and managing healthcare-associated infections. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Weber has an interest in the connection between public policy and infection prevention at hospitals.
