Omar Lateef, DO. Senior Vice President of Clinical Affairs and CMO of Rush University Medical Center (Chicago). Rush University Medical Center appointed Dr. Lateef CMO in 2015 after he served as associate chief medical officer for six years and senior vice chair of the department of medicine for around three years. A pulmonary and critical care medicine specialist, Dr. Lateef also has experience as program director for the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program at Rush. In his current role, Dr. Lateef is responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing Rush’s clinical quality, patient safety and performance improvement initiatives.
