Adhi Sharma, MD. Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs and CMO of South Nassau Communities Hospital (Oceanside, N.Y.). Dr. Sharma is responsible for South Nassau Communities Hospital’s medical affairs office and serves as the administrative liaison to the hospital’s medical staff. As senior vice president of medical affairs and CMO of the hospital, Dr. Sharma works with physician leaders and administrators on advancing programs and initiatives for quality care. He has previous experience as vice president and COO of Progressive Emergency Physicians and chair of the department of emergency medicine at West Islip, N.Y.-based Good Samaritan Hospital and Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Victory Memorial Hospital.
