Las Palmas Medical Center (El Paso, Texas). The 327-bed Las Palmas Medical Center, part of El Paso-based Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare, houses a NICU and programs for breast care. Last year the medical center opened a newborn and breastfeeding clinic in El Paso to offer services like pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology and neonatology to assist mothers and their babies. In its most recent rankings, CareChex named Las Palmas among the top five hospitals in Texas for women’s health. The medical center also garnered the Labor and Delivery Excellence Award, Obstetrics and Gynecology Excellence Award and the Gynecologic Surgery Excellence Award from Healthgrades.
