Thomas Balcezak, MD. Senior Vice President of Patient Safety and Quality and CMO of Yale-New Haven (Conn.) Hospital. Prior to being named CMO and senior vice president of patient safety and quality of Yale-New Haven Hospital, Dr. Balcezak held a number of administrative roles in the hospital, including senior vice president and chief quality officer. He was also chief medical resident at Yale-New Haven, where he completed his internship and residency training. He has a master’s in public health and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and American Board of Internal Medicine.
