David L. Battinelli, MD. Senior Vice President and CMO of Northwell Health (Great Neck, N.Y.). In addition to serving as CMO of Northwell Health, Dr. Battinelli is dean for education at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Prior to his current role, he was senior vice president for academic affairs and chief academic officer for Northwell, vice chairman for education, program director for the internal medicine residency program at Boston Medical Center and professor of medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Battinelli is past president of the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine and has taught more than 200 local, regional and national faculty development seminars.
