Chad Whelan, MD. Senior Vice President and CMO of Loyola University Health System (Maywood, Ill.). In addition to serving as CMO of Loyola University Health System, Dr. Whelan is a professor of medicine at Loyola University and associate editor of the Journal of Hospital Medicine. Prior to his current appointment, he was director of the hospital medicine division at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, associate CMO for performance improvement and innovation and associate professor of medicine at the University of Chicago.
