Gordon Hospital (Calhoun, Ga.). Gordon Hospital houses 69 beds and operates under the umbrella of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System. In 2015, the community hospital provided $24.6 million in direct community benefit. The hospital is the only one in Northwest Georgia with a CMS five-star rating at the time of this list’s publication. Gordon Hospital began a $37 million expansion and renovation in 2014, including the addition of a new patient tower.
