The nonprofit, 89-bed hospital is staffed by 1,100 employees, including more than 200 physicians, which makes it the largest employer in Grundy County. For three consecutive years — 2014, 2015 and 2016 — the hospital received the Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades.
