Alhambra (Calif.) Hospital Medical Center. The 144-bed Alhambra Hospital Medical Center is the first solely Chinese-owned hospital in Southern California and has more than 600 employees and affiliations with 300 physicians. Alhambra Hospital Medical Center was named as a Truven 100 Top Hospital in 2016. This year, Healthgrades also named the hospital among the nation’s 100 best hospitals for gastrointestinal care, and among the nation’s 100 best hospitals for general surgery.
