Madison (S.D.) Community Hospital. Madison Community Hospital, a 25-bed facility located about 50 miles from Sioux Falls, S.D., has been serving residents in the Madison area for more than 100 years. In 2015, the hospital was named an iVantage HealthStrong Hospital. Madison Community Hospital was also one of the iVantage 2015 Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals. Madison Community Hospital has been recognized for the second year in a row as one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation by the National Rural Health Association.
