Elizabethtown (N.Y.) Community Hospital. Located in northern New York, nearly 30 miles southwest of Burlington, Vt., Elizabethtown Community is a Joint Commission-accredited critical access hospital. Its emergency department treats about 5,500 patients each year, nearly one-third of which are trauma cases. In 2015, iVantage recognized it as both a HealthStrong Top Hospital and a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital.
