Texas Health Resources (Arlington). In 2012, Texas Health Resources and North Texas Specialty Physicians formed a Pioneer ACO Plus, but it departed from the program the next year. Still, Texas Health Resources remains active in the world of accountable care, having initiated efforts with commercial payers such as Aetna and Cigna. In 2015, Texas Health Resources joined four other Dallas-based systems in forming a 42-hospital ACO called Forward Health Partners. Last June, Texas Health Resources signed a letter of intent for its hospitals to become part of Premier Patient Health Care's ACO.
