The Boston Globe Names athenahealth a "Top Place to Work in 2011"

The Boston Globe has named athenahealth, a provider of cloud-based practice management, EHR and care coordination services to medical groups, as one of the "top places to work in 2011," according to a Globe report.

The recognition honors the company's commitment to creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through employee satisfaction, work conditions and company culture.

In response to the honor, Leslie Brunner, senior vice president of people and process for athenahealth, said, "Culture is our most strategic asset, so we feel particularly pleased to be singled out as a vibrant workplace full of teachers and learners."

athenahealth was included in the mid-sized companies category based on its number of employees in Massachusetts.
