Average price for heart attack hospitalization in the 30 largest US cities

Of the 30 largest cities in the U.S., San Jose, Calif., is the most expensive to be hospitalized for a heart attack, according to Healthcare Blue Book.

The price for heart attack hospitalization includes the average price for a two day admission, according to Healthcare Blue Book. The price is calculated based on the amount health plans have paid on claims.

Here are the prices for the 30 largest cities in the U.S., based on population from the 2010 U.S. Census.
