CMS adds first star ratings to Home Health Compare

Star ratings based on nine of 29 quality measures publicly reported by home health agencies for the calendar year 2014 have been posted to CMS’ Home Health Compare website.

Agencies that are Medicare-certified and reported data for at least five of the nine quality measures during the 12-month period received ratings.

CMS expects to introduce additional start ratings in January 2016 based on the home health patient experience of care survey. For more information, see the CMS factsheet.
