Here is a list of the top 10 positions in hospitals and health systems with the greatest turnover rate from March 2010 to March 2011, according to SK&A’s Hospital Providers on the Move report.

The data was compiled through phone interviews with 6,680 U.S. hospitals from March 2010-March 2011. The report’s “move rate” or turnover rate represents the rate at which hospital providers move, retire or pass away.

1. Director of Operating Room — 38.5%
2. Director of Psychiatric Services — 34.3%
3. Director of Audio Visual/Media Services — 29.0%
4. Director of Laboratory Services — 28.8%
5. Director of Catheterization Lab — 26.7%
6. Director of Dentistry — 26.3%
7. Director of Patient Accounts — 25.7%
8. Director of Radiology Services — 25.0%
9. Chairman of Formulary Committee — 24.5%
10. Medical Director — 24.3%
