CEO compensation in top 15 US medical device companies — 75 statistics

The CEO compensation among the top 15 American-based medical device manufacturers varies from $21 million for Johnson & Johnson's CEO Alex Gorsky to $2.6 million for Daniel J. Starks, chairman, president and CEO of St. Jude Medical.

The top companies were ranked by Medical Product Outsourcing according to sales reported for the 2015 fiscal year. The list includes Medtronic as its operational headquarters remained in Minnesota although the company acquired Covidien and moved its official to Dublin, Ireland.

The compensation statistics are based on Salary.com's Executive Salary calculator, which reports data from proxy statements filed for the 2015 fiscal year. Note: The total compensation includes salary, bonus and stock options in addition to other sources of compensation not individually mentioned here.
