A quarter of survey respondents indicated they were unsure.

Support for the American Health Care Act is largely partisan with 69 percent of Republicans favoring it and 70 percent of Democrats opposing it, according to the report. Eleven percent of Republicans indicated they are against the bill, while 20 percent said they were not sure how they felt about it. Thirteen percent of Democrats said they favor the bill while 17 percent were unsure, according to The Hill.

The survey was conducted online May 6 among 1,000 adults.
