Tahlequah Hospital Authority picks Dr. Charles Gosnell for trustee seat: 3 things to know

The Tahlequah (Okla.) Hospital Authority has picked Charles Gosnell, MD, to serve as a trustee, according to a Tahlequah Daily Press report.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Gosnell.

1. He is back serving as a trustee on the Tahlequah Hospital Authority after 12 years of retirement.

2. He has served in various leadership roles, including: chairman of the radiation safety committee at Northeastern Health System in Tahlequah; medical director of radiology at Northeastern Health System[AE1]; and team physician for the University of Tulsa basketball.

3. He is currently medical director for the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians, and advisory board member for the Claremore (Okla.) Service Unit and Indian Hospital.
