During its Annual National Institute conference in Las Vegas this week, the Healthcare Financial Management Association inducted Mary Mirabelli into office as chair of its board of directors for the 2016-2017 term.
Below are three things to know about Ms. Mirabelli.
1. Ms. Mirabelli currently serves as vice president of global healthcare practice at Hewlett Packard.
2. Prior to joining HP, she served as a senior executive at Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America, where she was vice president of implementation for HCA's revenue cycle shared services.
3. Ms. Mirabelli has been an active member of HFMA since 2003 and has worked on a number of advisory and leadership boards, including the national board of directors, governance committee, national advisory council, Morgan Award judging committee, healthcare leadership council, early careerist task force and strategic planning committee.
