Detroit-based Children’s Hospital of Michigan, part of the Detroit Medical Center, selected Monique Butler, MD, to serve as COO.

1. Dr. Butler, an internist, most recently served as vice president of medical affairs and CMO for both Sinai-Grace and Detroit Receiving hospitals, both located in Detroit.

2. She also participated in numerous volunteer activities, including co-founding the Young Doctors of Detroit program.

3. In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Butler holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
