20 Hospital and Health System Executive Moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves occurred within the past week, beginning with the most recent.

1. Medical Center of Trinity in New Port Richey, Fla., selected Kenneth West as COO, according to a Tampa Bay Business Journal report.

2. Edward Chadwick, executive vice president and CFO of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., will not renew his contract and will leave the system, effective June 30.

3. Charles Stewart, CEO of Fort Smith, Ark.-based Sparks Health System, stepped down from his position, according to a report by The City Wire.

4. Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, N.C., selected David Loving as CEO.

5. Robert Laskowski, MD, president and CEO of Wilmington, Del.-based Christiana Care Health System announced plans to retire at the end of the year.

6. Bristol (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center named Brian Hobson COO.

7. Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, Wash., selected J. Michael Marsh as president and CEO, effective April 7.

8. Alan Channing, president and CEO of Chicago-based Sinai Health System, announced plans to retire on April 1, according to the hospital.

9. Lake Wales (Fla.) Medical Center named Andrew Howard CEO, according to a report by The Ledger.

10. Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health has named Camie Patterson COO of its Starke campus in Knox, Ind., and its LaPorte (Ind.) campus, according to an Inside Indiana Business report.

11. Bev Weaver, COO of Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health, is leaving her position, effective May 31, to take on a consulting role.

12. Rome (N.Y.) Memorial Hospital appointed Dewey Rowlands CFO.

13. Spartanburg, S.C.-based Mary Black Health System named Sean Dardeau CEO, effective March 17, according to a Spartanburg Herald report.

14. Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare has selected Patrick Maloney as CEO of West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Ill., and Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, Ill., according to a Westlake Hospital news release.

15. John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital in Phoenix selected Maggi Griffin as CEO, according to a Phoenix Business Journal report.

16. All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., named Roberta Alessi COO.

17. Pamela Rezak, CEO of Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, S.D., announced plans to retire, effective June 27, according to a Yankton Daily Press & Dakotan report.

18. Lee Rhodes, administrator and CEO of Central Montana Medical Center in Lewistown, plans to step down from his position, effective March 12, according to a KXLO-KLCM report.

19. Norman (Okla.) Regional Medical Center selected Stephen Midkiff as permanent CEO, according to a Mooresville Tribune report.

20. Minneapolis-based Fairview Health Services selected Carolyn Wilson, RN, as executive vice president and COO.
