Prior to joining Bingham Memorial, Mr. Kraml served as CEO of Hazel Hawkins Hospital in Hollister, Calif., for about nine years. He has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience.
During his time at the helm of Bingham Memorial, Mr. Kraml has helped the system make great strides from a financially struggling hospital and skill nursing facility into a thriving medical system. He helped grow the hospital’s operating budget from $9 million in 1999 when he joined to budgets that have exceeded $200 million. He has also helped recruit more than 100 physicians as Bingham’s medical staff has grown from 15 to 130 physicians during his time there. Additionally, he has overseen the building of a new medical office building, nursing home and surgery center and managed renovations at the hospital.
Outside his time leading individual hospitals and health systems, Mr. Kraml has also served as a chairman and board member of the Idaho Hospital Association. Additionally, Mr. Kraml is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and The American Academy of Medical Management.
Mr. Kraml earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Webster University in St. Louis.
