Dr. Bertha, who has more than 30 years of experience, became Sunshine Health’s medical director in 2015. Throughout his medical career, he has helped create policies and regulations regarding telemedicine.
The council will analyze how to improve access to telehealth services across Florida and plans to present their conclusions to the Florida governor, senate president and house speaker in October 2017.
