A report from TechNavio, a global technology research and advisory company, examined the telehealth market and found that the reach of telemedicine will likely spur demand. Telemedicine platforms include tools such as email, smartphones, video conferencing and other tools developed specifically for medicine, according to the report.

A key aspect of the market is cloud system management software, which is spreading quickly. Because it saves time in data recovery from databases, it is useful for larger companies and organizations. Cybersecurity, however, will continue to be as the market expands and the volume of telehealth transactions increases, according to the report.
