What providers believe will replace the ACA: 4 survey findings

Nearly half of providers believe an open market system will replace the ACA, according to data from Reaction's research platform.

For its research, Reaction gathered direct feedback from more than 1,600 acute care and ambulatory providers nationwide, including C-suite executives, vice presidents and other leaders.

Here are four survey findings.

1. The survey found 47 percent of providers believe an open market system will replace the ACA.

2. Twenty-four percent of respondents believe "something better" will replace the law, while 18 percent believe "something worse" will replace it.

3. Additionally, 17 percent of providers believe an ACA replacement will include a breakdown of state barriers, and 14 percent believe it will include block grants to states, according to the survey.

4. Twenty-six percent of providers believe the ACA will be replaced with "more competitive pricing/something more affordable," and 12 percent believe health savings accounts will be part of the replacement law.
