5 hospital CFOs in the headlines

Here are five hospital and health system CFOs who were in the news this past week.

1. Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems CFO Larry Cash was in the news discussing the system's most-recent financial results.

2. Mark Bogen, senior vice president of finance and CFO at Oceanside, N.Y.-based South Nassau Communities Hospital, was in the news as he was named a recipient of the Long Island Business News' CFO of the Year Award.

3. Pittsburgh-based UPMC CFO Robert DeMichiei was in the news discussing the system's financial results for the most-recent quarter.

4. Gena Wingfield, CFO of Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, and Bob Roberts, CFO of Baptist Health in Little Rock, Ark., were in the news as they were each honored with lifetime achievement awards at the Arkansas Business CFO of the Year luncheon, according to an Arkansas Business report.
