The heart center physicians and staff will remain an independent practice and will continue to practice at both Yakima Valley Memorial and Yakima (Wash.) Regional Medical and Cardiac Center, according to the report.
The partnership offers the heart center some stability, which helps in recruiting new cardiologists, according to the report. In addition, the relationship will facilitate communication between the center and the hospital, improving patient outcomes.
