Under the merger agreement, PWHS will retain its name and identity and continue to be governed by its local board of trustees. One PWHS member will sit on Novant’s board and one Novant member will sit on PWHS’ board, according to the release. All donations to the PWHS Foundation will continue to stay within the community.
