Baptist Memorial Health Care plans to develop the first adult multi-disciplinary comprehensive academic cancer center in the Mid-South and has committed more than $20 million toward the development of regional cancer centers and related services. BMMG’s acquisition of Boston Baskin Cancer Group is the latest of several oncology practice acquisitions it has made as it works to recruit cancer providers to the new integrated cancer center.

The Boston Baskin Cancer Foundation has 15 physicians and eight clinical sites in three states. Under the agreement, the foundation’s locations will continue to offer the services available before the partnership.
