The study looked at 400 pre-Medicare baby boomers ages 47 to 64 not on Medicare and 400 current Medicare beneficiaries ages 65 to 75, both of which have annual household incomes between $25,000 and $75,000.
Only 46 percent of the pre-Medicare group said they were “extremely” or “very” satisfied with the access and quality of their healthcare. Twenty-four percent of the pre-Medicare group was dissatisfied with their healthcare, while only 2 percent of the Medicare group was not satisfied with their healthcare.
