The patient, Edward Marshall, said he has undergone 19 heart catheterizations and a pacemaker operation at Saint Joseph, part of Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives. He initiated the lawsuit against the hospital and health system after two other cardiologists told him his latest pacemaker and stent operations were not necessary. He is also suing his physicians, including Anis Chalhoub, MD, who performed his most recent procedure.
