The MEVION S250 Proton Therapy System, which has not yet been cleared by the FDA for clinical use, will be housed in the Kling Center for Proton Therapy. The hospital plans to begin treating patients with the proton accelerator by the end of 2012 and expect to treat more than 200 patients a year.
