The new technology uses cardiac computerized tomographic angiography to perform a noninvasive diagnostic test that can detect early stages of coronary artery disease.
The CT scanner can complete imaging in five to 10 seconds, allowing for rapid results and early intervention of the disease. The technology also offers a reduced amount of radiation exposure.
