Firefighters in Monroe County, Pa., spent more than seven hours at the scene of a fire that broke out at one of Medline's manufacturing plants Aug. 19. 

Philips Respironics recalled 73,000 ventilators because of a risk of dirt and dust clogging the device, which can block the air path and lead to serious injury or death.

Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth has chosen Medline as its primary supplies vendor for years, but with a new deal, the two companies said Aug. 9 they're going "beyond price and volume."
