Boston Scientific plans $138M Indiana facility

Boston Scientific plans to invest approximately $138 million in a new medical device distribution facility in Plainfield, Ind., creating up to 300 jobs.

The devicemaker expects to construct and equip a 500,000-square-foot facility at the Plainfield Innovation Park to support and enhance its U.S.-based distribution and logistics operations, according to a June 8 news release from Indiana Gov. Mike Braun’s office. Boston Scientific expects to break ground later in 2026.

The facility will oversee global distribution of Boston Scientific’s medical devices. It is expected to create 300 jobs, the release said.
