Sanford’s strategic affiliation in India is still a “distant proposal,” according to the report, but an expansion to China could possibly come to fruition this year. The health system is considering a joint venture with the Chinese government to provide medical services for children, according to the report.

Sanford has already extended its reach to other continents: It is opening a clinic in Ghana this month, as well.
