The health system, which operates in more than 40 locations, including its flagship, 889-bed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, will provide medical clinics and services at the games, according to a Sept. 19 news release. It is also caring for athletes as they prepare for competitions leading up to the games through an affiliation with the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Medical Network.
The network includes Cedars-Sinai and eight other medical institutions:
- Texas Children’s Hospital (Houston)
- The Steadman Clinic (Vail, Colo.)
- UF Health (Gainesville, Fla.)
- Adirondack Health (Lake Placid, N.Y.)
- Colorado Center of Orthopedic Excellence (Colorado Springs)
- University of Utah Health (Salt Lake City)
- Lake Placid (N.Y.) Sports Med
- UCHealth Memorial (Colorado Springs)
