Mr. Kamath serves as vice president and chief of digital operations at MD Anderson Cancer Center, overseeing the digital backbone that supports excellence in cancer care, research, education and prevention. In this enterprise role, he leads a high-performing team of 800 professionals across infrastructure, architecture, shared services and digital solutions, working to deliver mission-critical, resilient, secure and scalable platforms. His strategic focus is on evolving institutional operations into a unified and frictionless digital experience by strengthening IT service management practices, modernizing the technology stack and ensuring architectural integrity across systems. His responsibilities span from optimizing uptime and cyber readiness to influencing vendor partnerships and enterprise investments. Mr. Kamath also champions operational readiness, automation and digital continuity planning.
