Dr. Pfeffer serves as the chief information and digital officer of Stanford Health Care. In this role, he oversees technology and digital solutions, paving the way for novel research, teaching and compassionate care across hospitals and clinics. He also has a focus on bringing AI into Stanford’s healthcare operations. Prior to joining Stanford, he acted as assistant vice chancellor and CIO for UCLA Health Sciences in Los Angeles.
