U.S. News & World Report released its Best Business Schools rankings April 7, comparing full-time, campus-based Master of Business Administration programs on academic quality and graduate success. The rankings also include part-time and executive MBA programs, which are evaluated using separate methodologies.

The media company ranked 134 business schools with eligible full-time programs based on career attainment, student selectivity and qualitative assessments from experts.

For part-time MBA programs, U.S. News evaluated 245 programs across six indicators: peer assessment scores, part-time student ratio, total part-time enrollment, GMAT and GRE scores, undergraduate GPA and work experience.

Data used in the rankings was collected between fall 2025 and early 2026 from AACSB-accredited schools that participated in U.S. News‘ statistical survey.

Each school’s overall rank was determined by scores across nine indicators, including acceptance rate, median undergraduate GPA, median GMAT and GRE scores, recruiter and peer assessment scores, salary outcomes and employment rates at graduation and three months after graduation.

Executive MBA programs were ranked separately based solely on peer assessment surveys completed by business school deans and directors, reflecting perceived program quality.

More information about the methodology is available here and here.
