Plastic surgeons have the highest annual compensation and lowest burnout rate of all specialties, while pediatricians have the lowest annual compensation and report the fifth highest rate of burnout, Medscape data shows.

Florida was ranked the best place to retire while Kentucky was the worst, according to a Jan. 22 report from personal finance website WalletHub.

Healthgrades has recognized 250 hospitals nationwide for exceptional care via its "America's Best Hospitals" awards, released Jan. 23.

AdventHealth Orlando (Fla.) ranked No. 1 on Money's "Best Hospitals of 2024" list, and it was one of only two hospitals on the list to receive an "A+" grade. New York state, meanwhile, had four hospitals in the top 20.

The best city for science, technology, engineering and math jobs is in Texas, while the worst city for STEM jobs is in Mississippi, according to an analysis by WalletHub, a personal finance website.
